Hi, I’m Joscie! I’m an artist, a maker, a lifelong lover of beautiful things, and a mother of four tiny tornadoes. Around here, the studio is often on the move, the soundtrack is someone yelling “come look at this!”, and silence is almost always suspicious.
Before Daffling, I spent years in creative rooms: theater, ballet, branding, design, production, and the wonderfully strange business of making things feel magical from the outside while holding them together with tape, tea, and sheer willpower on the inside.
My first real job was at the happiest place on earth, where I learned something that never quite left me: joy can be a job.
Not a plastered-on-smile joy. Not a fake joy. The kind of joy that says, "This may be an ordinary day for me, but it might be a once-in-a-lifetime day for you."
That stuck with me. It followed me into the theater, into the studio, into motherhood, and now into Daffling. Because I still believe a small thing can change the temperature of a moment.
A tiny charm. A sun-catcher throwing rainbows across the wall. A little object pressed into someone’s hand with “this made me think of you.” The happy little pause before someone says, "wait, I love this!"
